Midfielder, 5’6” Aliso Niguel High School Class of 2027 GPA: 4.6 Uncommitted

Claire has recently joined the top team of SD Surf after transferring from the SoCal Blues. She has been playing at the ECNL level for three years and before that won two State Cups with Laguna United. At Aliso Niguel High, she was a varsity starter her freshman year and led her team in goals last season.

She primarily plays center mid but has also been effective at both wing positions. She is left footed but uses both feat equally well when shooting, passing, or dribbling. Claire has been described as a very creative player with superior technical skills who excels in the open field through speed and good decision making. As a center mid she has the ability to open up space for herself and teammates by being strong on the ball and having the ability to dribble past defenders in one on one situations. She is fierce on defense with strong slide tackling abilities to regain possession. Being born in December, she was a sophomore last season playing with and against mostly juniors. This higher and older level of competition has enabled her to develop her skills even more in the highly competitive ECNL Southwest 08 Division.

In her spare time Claire enjoys surfing, playing her guitar, and hanging out with family and friends. She has been an active member of the National Charity League in which she has participated in many events benefiting those in need within our community.Internationally, Lauren played with the Exact 11 team in Italy and notably stepped in as the starting goalkeeper for their men’s first team during that trip. Lauren is known for her leadership, strong communication, and excellent organization on the field. She’s dominant in both aerial and ground play, confident in 1v1 situations, and skilled with both feet.
