Lauren has been playing soccer for 13 years, 9 of them as a goalkeeper. Before Lauren joined San Diego Surf this season, she played for Murietta Soccer Academy in the Girls Academy, competing not only on their 2008 team, but also on their 05/06, 06/07, and 2007 teams. In addition, Lauren plays for the Albion San Diego’s WPSL team and guest played for Empire Surf’s UPSL team. Lauren has attended two U.S. Youth National ID camps and two Girls Academy Regional ID camps. She has trained with the Quails men’s UPSL team and various MLS Next boys' teams.

Internationally, Lauren played with the Exact 11 team in Italy and notably stepped in as the starting goalkeeper for their men’s first team during that trip. Lauren is known for her leadership, strong communication, and excellent organization on the field. She’s dominant in both aerial and ground play, confident in 1v1 situations, and skilled with both feet.

In school, Lauren has earned multiple academic honors, in addition to earning varsity letters in both Track and Cross Country. She also trains with her high school’s men’s soccer team during the high school season.

Outside of soccer, Lauren enjoys exploring Southern California with her family, watching movies with friends, and spending time on art, reading, and writing.
